Transaction Throughput Guidelines

This article outlines Data Zoo’s transaction throughput (TPS) requirements and the process clients must follow when anticipating increased transaction volumes.

Standard Throughput Limit

Data Zoo supports a maximum throughput of 5 transactions per second (TPS) per client account by default.

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for monitoring their transaction volumes and ensuring they remain within the approved TPS limit.

Planning to Exceed 5 TPS

If you anticipate exceeding 5 TPS, whether temporarily or on an ongoing basis, you must notify Data Zoo in writing before the increase occurs.

Data Zoo will assess the request based on platform capacity and third-party provider limitations. Approval for increased throughput is subject to review and cannot be guaranteed.

How to Request an Increase:

Contact your Data Zoo representative or Data Zoo Support Team at support@datazoo.com with:

  • Expected TPS requirement
  • Planned start date
  • Expected duration (if temporary)
  • Data sources that will be used as part of the increased transaction volume
  • Business justification (if applicable)

Important Notice

Exceeding the approved TPS limit without prior written approval may impact service performance and associated service commitments.

To avoid any disruption, please engage with Data Zoo as early as possible when planning significant increases in transaction volumes.

For any questions regarding TPS limits or capacity planning, please contact your Data Zoo representative.
